The Staunton chess pieces "French Staunton" are widely used and have a popular design that is used in clubs as well as tournaments. All chess pieces are weighted, felted and their details are reworked by hand. The knight is entirely hand-carved and features the typical decorations of the chess piece set. The king height is 99 mm, which means that the chess pieces can also be used in tournaments. Additional queens are included for pawn conversion. A chessboard with a square size of 55 - 58 mm is recommended to create a good size relationship with the pieces.
