The Staunton chess set "French Staunton" is one of the classic designs and is often used both at tournaments and in clubs for training. The knight is hand-carved and impresses with clear structures and decorations. The other chess pieces are turned and their details reworked by hand. To protect the surface, all the chess pieces are felted and additionally weighted for a good grip. With a king height of 99 mm, the chess piece set is suitable for tournaments. Additional queens are included for pawn promotion. Optimal proportions are given on a chessboard with a square size of 55 - 58 mm.
